KM Wealth Lab Agent Planning Workshop

A wise and well run organization is one which starts its year with a clear direction. It ensures that its stakeholders are aligned with the goals of the organization. One such organization is KM Wealth Lab, an insurance agency, which had its Agent Planning Workshop on 18-19 January 2014 with MADLAB Training at Prudential Training Academy.

Through a series of activities, the agents discovered the importance of mindset management. The agents realized that as much as they are unable to control the environment, the one thing which they could control is themselves. The agents understood that excuses are for losers and that winners change obstacles into opportunities. In the event where things get beyond their control, the agents were advised to use a technique where they are able to see a situation in a more objective manner.

Having understood how they can take control of their lives by being in control of their minds, the agents were shown the “Secret” of getting their dreams for the year 2014. Without any limitations, the agents wrote down and declared their wish list. Believing that they could achieve it, the agents saw their own future of owning their dream homes, dream cars and spending time with their loved ones in improved lifestyles.

With the vision of the future the agents have in their hearts and minds, the agents affirmed that they are determined to hit their sales targets for the year. Nevertheless, from time to time, their self limiting beliefs returned to haunt them on what they could not achieve. The agents identified their core self limiting belief and underwent a self limiting belief challenge. Regardless of how tough the challenge was, none of the agents gave up but persisted through. With such resolve, the agents were reminded to re-live this experience each time their self limiting beliefs were to shackle them from their dreams and goals.

The agents learnt that consistent persistence through resistance will help them move closer to their goals. In order for the agents to achieve their dreams, they would need to hit certain targeted sales goals. After some time of thought and contemplation, the agents declared their sales goals to one another. This led to the formation of the agency sales target which comes up to a whooping goal of 3.4 million TPC (Total Production Credit) by 31 December 2014.

Achieving such a lofty goal is only possible when every agent works on their commitment. For them to work on their commitment, the agents must feel that they are part of the agency family. To foster this culture, the leaders and senior agents served all the junior agents dinner. Everyone enjoyed the session as they were served enormous portions. This was the first time where the entire agency was able to sit together to have a meal at the same table. Camaraderie through fellowship was developed. It was truly a memorable moment.

To further reinforce the agency culture, the agents were brought to discover the value of appreciation after dinner. Through simple illustrations, the agents found simple ways of making emotional deposits in one another to further strengthen the agency bond. They even made a sponge doll which they would give to someone they truly appreciates. The day’s session ended through a song dedication to the agents’ loved ones who have raised them up to where they are and have stood by them through thick and thin.

The start of the following day saw the agents reviewing the previous year’s performance. Recognition was given out to agents who excelled in different areas in the agency. This was used as a form of encouragement to new agents as it is possible for agents, regardless if they are new or senior, to win these awards every year.

The day ended with the agents discovering on how they could work at their full potential with passion. The agents came up with simple steps which they could do every day. Through continuous fervent effort of taking these small steps, the agency will be able to meet its goal through the meeting of each agent’s goal. The event ended with each agent writing a letter to their loved ones which would be hand delivered by their leader in a year’s time.

Throughout these two days, the agents of KM Wealth Lab discovered that they have ultimate control of themselves. As they control and change their response towards their environment, they would inevitably move towards their desired future. Through persistence, they would achieve their goals they have set. And through feedback, encouragement and appreciation, they would be a holistic agency with a human touch.

KM Wealth Lab, you have shown your best in this APW. Now, show your best to the world. All the best!

Ruemz Hotel - R.I.S.E Orientation

MAD Program: Ruemz Hotel, Taylors University R.I.S.E Program
Date: 2th - 5th January 2014 (4 days orientation program)
No of Pax: 35

MADLAB Training with collaboration with Ruemz Hotel successfully launched a new internship program, Ruemz Internship Success Engagement (R.I.S.E) program for interns of Ruemz Hotel and Temptation Restaurant, Taylors University

Orientation grouping
The idea behind R.I.S.E is to empower the interns to run the hotel and restaurant like a boss, they are entrusted to handle managerial position, in charge of food menu, runs promotion and marketing and put each of them against each other to be Champions of R.I.S.E. Their learning experience is guided by coaches of Ruemz Hotel. This makes R.I.S.E a remarkable learning experience as interns.

MADLAB Training designed a 4 days Orientation program to learn more about themselves, their mindset, their fear, working together as a team and brain storm their strategy on how to be Champion of R.I.S.E

At the same time, we train them the culture of appreciation at Ruemz and to build each other emotional bank account

R.I.S.E runs for 4 months where teams take turns to be management of the restaurant and to generate as much revenue as possible. This has resulted tremendous increase of profit for Temptations Restaurant in their sales compare to previous years.

Revenue has increase due to the effort of everyone

We end R.I.S.E with an awesome graduation celebration to mark the end of their internship and to celebrate their mark in history of Ruemz Hotel and Temptations Restaurant

The finale of R.I.S.E is the chef showdown where interns chef proudly presented their signature dish to Taylors Competition Chefs for the stamp of approval and feedback too
